8/31/06 Thursday (39) Day 9 of Rehab

            Your day today was like most of the other days.  You had OT in the morning and in the afternoon.  You had your extremity group that worked with free weights and then bands in the afternoon.  For PT you walked again with the walker but this time you walked 120ft. so you doubled your distance.  Then speech was again having paragraphs of stories read to you with questions regarding the items in the paragraphs.  But the best thing that happened today was Christine was here to be with you.  She has taken off from school and work to be with you for the next four days.  You were so happy to see her and to be with her.

            What a joy it was to see the two of you together. We love you both!
